Unveiling of the acclaimed members of the Young Bar of Montreal for the 2025-2026 mandate

Montreal, May 1, 2025 - The Young Bar Association of Montreal (JBM) today announced its acclaimed members for the 2025-2026 term.

The five (5) candidates elected by acclamation for the 2025-2026 term will take office at the JBM Annual General Meeting on May 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Montreal Court of Appeal.

New orientations, new profiles

"This year, we welcome a number of new members with varied backgrounds, ensuring that the Board of Directors is highly complementary. All members are highly motivated to implement the new 2025-2029 strategic plan," says Élizabeth Ménard-Laberge, General Manager of the JBM.

The JBM is proud to announce the five (5) members elected by acclamation for the 2025-2026 term:

• Me Samuel Cousineau-Bourgeois, Therrien Couture Jolicoeur
• Me Ousmane Diagne, Gaucher Ross Avocats
• Tayian Dogan, Oliver Avocats
• Marie-Luce Morin, SEPB Québec
• Me Clara Yassa, Centre de services scolaires Marguerite-Bourgeoys

They will join the Board members elected for a 2nd term, namely :

• Me Andrée-Anne Dion, Shadley Knerr s.e.n.c.
• Étienne de Blois, BCA Avocats
• Me Jeanne Gagné, Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions

• Me Sébastien Girard, Services Légaux Novum inc.
• Me Alexandra Haiduc, Revenu Québec
• Me Sabrina Roberge, Grondin Savarese Legal Inc.

Please note that due to amendments to the General By-laws ratified by the members at the Annual General Meeting on May 23, 2024, and in accordance with Article 66 of these new by-laws, of the twelve (12) elected directors, two officer positions will be appointed by the Board of Directors following the election, namely the position of President and Vice-President.

The management positions mentioned above will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on May 21, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Court of Appeal. Access to the AGM is free and open to all.
