The winner of the YBAM's English Oratory Competition 2011 is...
The YBAM would like to congratulate Mtre Adel Khalaf, winner of the YBAM's English Oratory Competition 2011. Mtre Khalaf, who spoke with charisma and sincerity, managed to woo the Jury with his eloquent speech on : "Success is a matter of luck - just ask any failure" (no).
Mtre Khalaf will have the honor of representing the Young Bar Association of Montreal at the second Edition of the International debate championship which will be held in September 2011, in Montreal during the opening of the Courts ceremonies.
It is expected that members from the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division as well as members from other English speaking bar Associations participate in this event!
Mtre Khalaf will also be awarded a round trip plane ticket to represent the Young Bar Association of Montreal at the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division’s (ABA-YLD) International Oratory Competition.
It is expected that members from the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division as well as members from other English speaking bar Associations participate in this event!

Moreover, the YBAM wishes to underline the remarkable work of all the contestants : Mtres Constantin Kiryakidis, Alexander Bayus (3rd place), Ryan Allan, Adam Baxter (2nd place) et Habib Rachidi who rendered the Jury's task quite difficult!
The YBAM would like to thank the members of the jury for making of this event a real success.
